EC2: Anja Zlatović

Hello, darlings! It’s such an honour for me to, once again, have the chance to apply for this position.

My name is Anja Zlatović, (she/her) from Belgrade, Serbia. I am an cultural anthropologist working at the University of Belgrade at the Department of Anthropology, and my field of study is digital anthropology, popular culture and death studies. I also freelance in the digital marketing field.

The work I did for CDN last year was one of the most pleasant I did when it comes to activism. It feels amazing to work on establishing and strengthening connections in the region of Eastern Europe, and I think I managed to help this during my term. If I get re-elected I hope to continue the good work, but also to strengthen the organisation and network even further using all the knowledge I gained in this term.

CDN introduced me to some of the most wonderful people I have in my life today, and not only do I wish to meet more of those working on make Europe greener and more progressive, but I also want to help others find their chosen, green families.

Beside work and activis, I love walking, biking, coffee, traveling, reading, playing video games and spending times with friends and family. Sometimes I do embroidery. Currently, I am learning Greek (and succeeding).

I hope my application shows you my interest, capabilities and passion to continue working in and for CDN, so that you select me as your committee member.
